The Bonni Fine Kaufman L’84 Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Bonni Fine Kaufman (L’84) by her husband, Robert Kaufman, colleagues, friends and clients.
This scholarship supports environmental law students who have demonstrated their extensive interest in environmental law and counseling through their involvement in the Georgetown Climate Center or the Environmental Law & Justice Clinic. Bonni was a partner in Holland & Knight’s Public Policy & Regulation Group. Although she had a distinguished career representing clients in various matters relating to environmental laws, Bonni was most known for being thoughtful and caring and making everyone who knew her feel special. In her more than 35 years as a lawyer, she developed strong and personal relationship with her clients and her colleagues
For her family and peers at Holland & Knight LLP, Bonni was known for her immense generosity of time, empathy, collegiality, sheer determination, and limitless enthusiasm for mentoring. Adored by many, clients and colleagues will remember Bonni as “a true gift.” In memory of Bonni and her unwavering interest in environmental law, this fund honors her lifelong pursuit of Environmental Justice and the sound representation of her clients by providing future generations of Georgetown Law students enthusiastic about the future, with the same life-changing opportunity afforded to Bonni.
